Today we recommend:

Hi! Today we recommend this new shop: Based in Amsterdam, it has a very interesting selection of whistles and different kinds of flutes. And soon they will be selling our CD! :D

Specially interesting for Europeans. In their own words, Fluteshop "focuses on collecting various flutes from all around the world and making them accessable for the European flute player."

We're on Patreon! Support us?

Why TinWhistler is on Patreon:

Hi! TinWhistler will always be a free YouTube channel. We've been posting Irish/Celtic music videos for 10 years now, and we wish to continue doing so... forever!

If you'd like to contribute to TinWhistler, you'll be helping us get new instruments, new equipment... and food! lol In short, you'll be ensuring that TinWhistler continues to exist for many more years. So, you can give us support on our Patreon page, here: Thank you!

This video (2014) shows a little bit of what we've been doing for 10 years now on YouTube, since we were kids:

Info: You may not know what Patreon is. It's a website that helps musicians and creators continue to make their creations, by getting "patrons" who economically help every month the artists they love. So it's like an ongoing crowdfunding campaign. Basically, many artists can't make a living off of their art, which is indeed our case, and Patreon is a way for fans to help their favorite artists make this possible.

In our case, you would contribute for every YouTube video we post (it can be $1 per video, or $5, or $10, or anything you want). Of course, you can set a maximum for every month so that, in case we went crazy one month and posted a hundred videos (lol), you wouldn't pay too much!

Private whistle lessons via Skype (PJ)!

"Do you teach? I want to take lessons! Skype lessons??"

Yes, I (PJ) have decided to give it a try.  :)  Private (individual) whistle lessons via Skype. Alternatively, group lessons might work too if you'd prefer them.

So if you'd like to start learning the tin whistle (or low whistle) or improve your technique, please send me a private message on our Facebook page or email me to our Gmail ("PJTinWhistler") for more information.
